The event

Pop culture
among baroque petals.

The 47th edition of the Infiorata celebrates the icons, the languages and the avant-gardes that defined the 20th century: music, cinema, fashion, comics, Pop Art. Around sixty floral panels, all arranged along Via Nicolaci in the heart of the UNESCO-listed historic centre.

Via Nicolaci
in bloom.

Since 1980, every May in Noto, Via Nicolaci — the baroque staircase rising towards the Church of Montevergini — is covered with petals arranged in figurative compositions. Around sixty floral panels, each on a theme from that year's edition. In 2026 the theme is "Pop Culture Tells Its Story": 20th-century icons, music, cinema, comics, Pop Art.

The UNESCO
baroque centre.

Noto has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002 as one of the finest examples of late Sicilian baroque: together with other towns rebuilt after the 1693 earthquake, it forms the baroque Val di Noto. Destroyed and entirely rebuilt, its churches and palaces lined along Corso Vittorio Emanuele — the Cathedral of San Nicolò, Palazzo Ducezio, the Church of San Domenico — make the afternoon stroll after the Infiorata equally memorable. Even richer with a guided tour of Noto.
