The oldest theatre festival in the world still in operation. Every summer, from May to July, the Greek Theatre of Siracusa hosts Greek tragedies and comedies staged by the National Institute of Ancient Drama (INDA).

Infiorata
of Noto

In mid-May, Via Nicolaci is transformed into a carpet of flowers. Artists compose 6×4 metre floral mosaics on the most photographed baroque staircase in Sicily.

Pop Culture Tells Its Story

15–19 May 2026
The theme of the 2026 edition is dedicated to contemporary pop culture, interpreted by the artists through compositions of petals, leaves and seeds along the 122 metres of Via Nicolaci.
